Service Projects – Vision

Service to others is an integral part of our Catholic life and our Vision Program is no different!

Children are required to complete (3) Service Projects throughout the year: (2) Corporal Works of Mercy & (1) Spiritual Work of Mercy.  If your child is also preparing for Confirmation they will be required to complete an additional project through there.  At the bottom of this page we have included a list of practical ideas for both Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy.

Throughout the year we will offer several Corporal Work of Mercy opportunities, you do not have to complete one of our sponsored events!  If you are already doing a project please feel free to use that or select something from the list below of practical ideas!

Upcoming Corporal Work Projects:

Kings Things & St. Vincent de Paul Society Food Drives

Food dropped in the back of either Church is then donated to these organizations!
Swedesboro Church: Kings Things
Gibbstown Church: St. Vincent de Paul Society

Giving Trees

Giving Trees are out in both Churches – grab a tag off the tree and purchase a gift for the person selected. Please then wrap and return to the tree you selected from.
